Party FAQs

I have booked my party, what next?

You will receive an email to confirm the booking you have made. We then reach out about two weeks before your party to request the final balance and send out some useful reminders ahead of your party.

Do you provide catering with your parties?

Our party packages are based on parents providing their own food. However we do have snack boxes available as a catering option, should you wish to remove the stress of making sandwiches at the last minute! Please find further information about our snack boxes here.

 

Can we provide our own food for the party?

Our party packages are based on parents providing their own food for the party children. Should you wish to use an external food provider (pizza etc) we kindly ask that you pick up your order and bring it to the venue as deliveries frequently run late and could impact your party.

 

When do children eat at the party?

Our parties are 1 hour and 45 minutes long. Children sit to eat 60 mins into the party. When children have finished eating they get back involved in the activity while staff begin cleaning and tidying.

Do you provide tableware?

Yes, we include tables, seating (benches), cups and plates. Please have a look at here for some images which show what's included https://www.clubhouse-caterham.co.uk/party - correct in two places

Do you provide drinks for the party

We provide jugs of water throughout the party and ask you to bring your bottles of squash. We provide as many cups as needed and will wash/replenish as needed throughout the party.

Can we provide our own tableware to theme our party?

Yes, this is no problem. We just ask that any additional decorations such as balloons etc are not stuck to any painted surfaces at our premises. Unfortunately we are unable to accommodate the use of pinatas at our venue.

 

Do you have parking on site?

No we do not have parking available on site but there are plenty of local options. Popular options are Morrisons (3 hours free, 3 min walk) and Waitrose (90 mins free, 3 mins walk). On Sundays there is also free parking available on Croydon Road. Please check information is correct before travelling and also check early and seasonal closures as necessary.

 

On the day of our party, how early should we arrive?

Please do not arrive more than 15 minutes before your party is due to start. Our team will still be clearing up from the previous session/party and will be unable to accommodate you before this time.

 

Can we drop some items off before our party?

Yes, you are welcome to drop some items off the day before your party if this helps at all. We ask that all items are in a clearly labelled box with the party child’s name, date and time of party. Please note we do not have facilities available to refrigerate items on site so dry goods and decorations only please.

 

Can we extend the length of our party?

All of our parties run for 1 hour and 45 minutes. Unfortunately, we do not offer options for longer parties as all of our parties run at pre-set times.

 

How does the Glow Disco party run?

You will have a party leader who will oversee the party for you. Our party leader will organise some games and also help seat children at food time. Typical party games include musical bumps/statues, parachutes, limbo and a dance routine. All games are made age-appropriate. Your party leader will discuss games with you on arrival in case you wish to request any adaptations.

 

Is your café open throughout our party?

Yes our café will be open throughout your party serving tasty snacks, food and drinks for any parents staying throughout the party.

 

Can we set up a tab for parents attending our party who wish to use your café?

Yes we can arrange this for you. Please speak to a team member on arrival for your party who can help arrange this for you.

Do we need to clean and tidy at the end of the party?

No. Our staff will take care of the cleaning and tidying. Simply take away anything you wish to keep (left over food etc) and we'll deal with the rest.

Do you have facilities to heat party food?
We don’t have facilities on site that are suitable for parties to use to heat up party food.

​

Do we need to include babies/crawlers in our numbers for our party booking?
The number you book for is for the number of children who will actively be participating in the party and would also be included in your numbers for eating space. Siblings who are babies/crawling and do not need one of the spaces to eat would not need to be included in your numbers.

 

Do you have a limit on the number of parents/adults that can attend our party?
No, we do not have a limit on the number of parents/adults that can attend. 

 

Can I change my party from a non-exclusive soft play party to an exclusive use soft play party.
Yes, we can arrange this for you. Please note we need at least 14 days notice to be able to accommodate this request.

 

Can I change my Soft Play or Glow Disco party to a whole-venue party?
Yes, we can arrange this for you, but it depends on availability. Please email us if you would like to make this change and we will be able to advise you of availability.
